Year 3, week 4: Daisy Jones and The Six

This week's book:
Daisy Jones and The Six
By Taylor Jenkins Reid

This week's book was recommended by a lovely lady I'm in a meal swap with. She is always reading fun books and then she writes about them on Facebook. Sound familiar?

Anyway, the book for this week is all about a fictional band in the 1970's that's loosley about Fleetwood Mac and (I'm assuming) about their monster smash hit album, Rumors. The whole book is set up like an interview for a magazine or book. It was very interesting but I feel like it might be better if you read it in one sitting, or a few days. Because this past week was the first week my sweet hubby was back to work and my daughter's first week in preschool, I was too busy with everyone's items that needed to be taken care of to actually get any reading done. For the fact it had taken more time than necessary, I kind of got tired of the characters. I will say there is a turn in the story which I took kind of a gut punch, but that might just be me and my history.

I have heard that Reese Witherspoon is making a show or something with this property. I enjoyed the book and would recommend it, just try to read it fast.
